2007 CASTA Initiatives: • Building relationships with the new governor and his staff. • Medicaid funding for non-emergent transportation • Working with the new and returning legislators to maintain Senate Bill 1 funding. • Providing two outstanding conferences filled with pertinent and vital training and networking opportunities. • Release of the 2007 Transit Directory and on-line transit resource. • Continued work on coordinating transportation services by region. • Working with the CDOT Transit Unit staff to provide high-quality and effective training opportunities. • Developing, identifying and pursuing additional operating and capital funding for transit agencies.
